Located in Tehachapi, CA, we are the home of Skylark North Glider flight school, Mountain Valley RV Park, and The Raven’s Nest Deli. Whether you’re looking to take your first sailplane ride, admiring the scenic Tehachapi Valley, or looking for a bite, Mountain Valley Airport is the place for you.

Glider Rides

Open Wednesday through Monday, Skylark North offers sailplane rides, instruction, and rentals, as well as Gift Certificates for any of our scenic glider rides.

Raven’s Nest

The Raven's Nest Deli is open every day except Tuesdays and specializes in breakfasts, deli sandwiches, and fresh salads, as well as soups and baked goods made in-house. Our restaurant features a warm, cozy atmosphere with an excellent view of the runway and flight-line activities. Our house-baked breads and cookies are alsoavailable to order.

RV Park

RV camping with water, electrical hookups, restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities is available at Mountain Valley RV Park, located at the West end of the airport. Click here to book your stay using our online reservation system!

All cancellation/refund requests must be emailed to mountainvalleyrvpark@gmail.com prior to noon the day of your reservation with your first & last name, the dates you had reserved and a phone # you can be reached if needed.

Flight School

Skylark North offers a wide range of services to the pilot, including rides, rentals, instruction, and tows. We are designated by the FAA to administer FAA flight tests. Tiedowns are also available for rental.
